Part-Time Education Assistant for Adventure Club
About the role
Apart from Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion Elementary School, we are seeking a part-time Education Assistant for the Adventure Club. The position offers up to 17.5 hours per week, from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The salary starts at $21.92 per hour based on the current Education Assistant Collective Bargaining Agreement, and $18.11 per hour for less than 12 hours per week. There's also a hiring bonus of up to $1000 from a grant and a discount on childcare for children attending Robbinsdale Area Schools K-5.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of an enriching extended-day environment for children enrolled in the Adventure Club School Age Care Program, grades Kindergarten through 5.
- Indoor and outdoor supervision of children daily.
- We plan the fun!
Requirements
- Successful experience working with elementary-age children.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Credits in education, child development, or related education from a university, college, or education-based program preferred.

Pay

Flexible on the number of days per week, but the typical schedule is 17.5 hours per week, from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
