Part-Time ED Technician (3p-11:30p)

About the role

Support patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting by performing clinical and administrative tasks under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and perform order entry
• Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing
• Assist registered nurses with patient care
• Organize and prioritize daily tasks to ensure patient safety
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
• Support behavioral health patients in accordance with hospital policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT, or completion of a clinical rotation (preferred)
• Emergency room experience
• BLS certification
• Phlebotomy experience (preferred)
• Must pass a physical agility exam
