Part-Time Echocardiographer

About the role

The role involves performing echocardiography studies and stress ECHOs, as well as recognizing, calculating, interpreting, and analyzing hemodynamic data obtained from these studies.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
• Adapt care based on patient age and interpret information to meet individual patient needs.
• Effectively communicate observations and input to nursing staff, physicians, and other team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree or completion of a certified Cardiovascular Program preferred.
• Two years of echocardiography experience is preferred.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentials (RDCS or RCS) required; new graduates have six months to obtain certification.
