Part-Time Early Childhood Substitute Teacher

About the role

This job works collaboratively with the preschool team to ensure a high-quality program that aligns with YMCA values and early childhood best practices.

Responsibilities

• Aid Lead Teachers and Teachers in their classrooms.
• Assist with cooking, prepping, and serving meals.
• Give Lead Teachers and Teachers breaks and lunch breaks.
• Care for children ranging in ages from birth-5 years.
• Bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Fill in for Lead Teachers and Teachers in their absence.

Requirements

• Be 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be a positive and proactive person.
• Have great communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
