Part Time E-Commerce

Cub Rochester East on 15th Ave. is looking for a dedicated individual to join the eCommerce team. This part-time role focuses on accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for pickup or delivery, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable online ordering experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality selection of products for customer orders
• Execute on delivery times and maintain order accuracy
• Follow department safety and sanitation programs for selection, transportation, and delivery
• Observe store security and confidentiality standards and procedures
• Communicate effectively with other departments and store staff
• Provide comparable product substitutions when necessary
• Prepare orders for delivery by ringing up and bagging orders efficiently
• Check expiration dates throughout the store during slow periods
• Operate equipment such as carts, box cutters, balers, and compactors

Requirements

• Able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
• Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• Ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment, especially when direct supervision may not be available
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs
• Pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, and repetitive motions
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil
