Part-Time Downtown Ranger

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid class "C" Texas driver's license or higher required.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to operate a variety of equipment for indoor and outdoor projects.
  • Ability to paint interior and exterior.
  • Ability to understand and follow the City of Conroe policies and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to adapt to new technology, methods, or changing conditions.
  • Must be capable of reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Physical Demands

• The work is heavy and requires the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• The work may be performed outdoors in weather conditions.
• The work requires a substantial amount of walking during the day.
• Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motions, speaking, standing, stooping, talking, and visual acuity.
