Part-Time Dog Bather

About the role

We are looking to hire a part-time dog bather for our busy general practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced bather to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Bathe, brush, blow-out, and de-shed dogs
• Work confidently with minimal supervision or direction
• Communicate professionally and effectively with dog owners
• Keep the bathing area sanitized and organized
• Identify potential medical issues and bring them to the attention of the technician staff
• Understand owners' wants and needs
• Maintain the safety of dogs above all
• Provide superior customer service

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50lbs or more
• Familiarity with dogs, dog breeds, and dog behavior
• Regular on-site presence is required as an essential function of the role
