Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and process real time data including but not limited to maintaining driver activities in computer systems, driver hours of service, fuel inquiries and other required items.
- Responsible to update driver and dispatch information into dispatch system real time.
- Respond to customer issues, may include but not limited to looking up information, completing reports and updating orders, recording necessary information and responding to emails.
- Effectively communicate with operations on a regular and timely basis regarding issues impacting the customer and/or their service expectations and commitments.
- Record and maintain an updated computer log of incidences.
- Manage administrative and customer service responsibilities.
- Assist operations team members and drivers with training and resource material for standard operational processes and procedures as necessary.
- Perform other job related duties and special projects as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service or dispatch preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems.
