Part-Time Dishwasher & Kitchen Support

Kimberton Whole Foods in Collegeville is looking for a part-time Dishwasher & Kitchen Support Team Member.

Schedule

Part-time, up to 24 hours a week.

• Sundays 9:30am-3:00pm
• Mondays 9:30am-3:00pm
• Thursdays 9:30am-3:00pm

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 hourly

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control, and communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing – prolonged standing.
• Work environment – movement-based with most of the time being in motion (walking & standing) rather than sedentary (sitting).
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Clean and rinse dishes, pots, and pans.
• Assist culinary staff with a range of tasks and provide them with needed items.
• Disinfect work surfaces, tools, utensils, dishes, and flatware.
• Wash, peel, and slice a variety of foods for meal preparation.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floor.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables, and clean out kitchen waste bins.
