Part-Time Dishwasher

About the role

The Steward is responsible for properly cleaning, storing, and maintaining all washable items within a sanitary and safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates dishwashing equipment to ensure adequate supplies of clean and sanitary tableware at all times.
• Maintains personal hygiene and sanitation standards as established by the Health Department.
• Follows proper food storage, handling, and preparation standards.
• Adheres to established Ecosure standards.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment through regular floor maintenance, trash removal, proper storage of equipment, and cleaning of the dish area prior to the end of each shift.
• Handles and uses chemicals needed to clean and sanitize tableware in a safe manner.
• Completes all training requirements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in and passion for consumer service.
• Willingness to learn new skills and be a team player.
• An attitude of flexibility and mindfulness about the team approach.
• Ability to maintain clean and clear service areas.
• Follows proper procedures as disclosed in Standard Operating Procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Regular walking, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, climbing, etc.
