Part-Time Dish Room Attendant

Job Duties

• Demonstrates IWCC’s core mission, vision and values
• Enforce the guidelines, policies, and procedures set by the Food Service Department
• Sanitation of all dishes, glassware, catering equipment, pots/pans, small ware, and utensils
• Use of chemicals according to MSDS and dish machine for sanitation measures
• Putting away of dishes, glassware, catering equipment, pots/pans, small wares, and utensils in proper location
• Cleaning and sanitizing of all tables in the cafeteria
• Cleaning and sanitizing of all carts on a daily basis
• Garbage removal and cleaning of garbage receptacles
• Mopping and cleaning of all spills and debris on the floors of the Food Service department
• Cleaning and sanitizing of all mobile carts in the food service department at all times
• Washing and sanitizing of catering items to ensure no damage occurs
• Timely completion of any further cleaning tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Enthusiastic and dedicated to helping others
• Collaborative and part of a fast-paced, customer-oriented team
• Professional in communications, appearance, relationships, and responsiveness
• Positive attitude

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing for extended periods
• Use of hands to operate equipment
• Regular talking and hearing
• Lift up to 30 lbs
