Part Time Director of Financial Aid- Anthology or Colleague experience preferred

About the role

HEAG is seeking Part-Time Financial Aid Director-level consultants with a minimum of 5 years of recent, Director-level management and leadership experience in a dynamic, fast-paced Financial Aid Office. Consultants must be available up to 20 hours per week during business hours to fill interim Director-level positions for a diverse group of schools.

Prior financial aid consulting experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage responsibilities in both strategic and functional capacities
• Oversee complex compliance issues, including reconciliation, R2T4, SAP review and compliance, as well as institutional, program, and student-level eligibility
• Communicate complex compliance issues and other important matters to non-FA staff, including Executives
• Manage staff and office needs independently, primarily in a remote capacity

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of recent, Director-level management and leadership experience in a Financial Aid Office
• Direct knowledge of financial aid compliance issues
• Competency in administering Financial Aid Programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Anthology and/or Ellucian Colleague (priority given, but all FA software experience considered)
• Ability to work up to 20 hours per week during business hours
• Willingness to travel for contracted assignments (short or long-term)
