About the role
HEAG is seeking Part-Time Financial Aid Director-level consultants with a minimum of 5 years of recent, Director-level management and leadership experience in a dynamic, fast-paced Financial Aid Office. Consultants must be available up to 20 hours per week during business hours to fill interim Director-level positions for a diverse group of schools.
Prior financial aid consulting experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Manage responsibilities in both strategic and functional capacities
- Oversee complex compliance issues, including reconciliation, R2T4, SAP review and compliance, as well as institutional, program, and student-level eligibility
- Communicate complex compliance issues and other important matters to non-FA staff, including Executives
- Manage staff and office needs independently, primarily in a remote capacity
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of recent, Director-level management and leadership experience in a Financial Aid Office
- Direct knowledge of financial aid compliance issues
- Competency in administering Financial Aid Programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Anthology and/or Ellucian Colleague (priority given, but all FA software experience considered)
- Ability to work up to 20 hours per week during business hours
- Willingness to travel for contracted assignments (short or long-term)
