Part-Time Dining Services Worker

POSITION SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work on a meal assembly line at an assigned station, placing specified food, condiments, napkins, utensils, etc., transport completed trays, sanitize trays and serving lines, wash dishes and pots/pans, serve meals to residents in the Resident Dining Room, and assist residents in opening packages and cutting food as needed
• Receive and stock/put away items in the storeroom, kitchen, and cafes, and clean the kitchen, resident dining room, and cafeteria
• Take food orders and assemble orders in an accurate and timely manner

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

• Completion of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma or demonstrated relevant work experience
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
• A post-offer physical is required.
• A pre-employment background check is required.

• MEDIUM WORK: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than for light work.
• The work environment for this position regularly includes working with extreme temperatures and with cleaning chemicals and compounds. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to quiet.
