About the role
We are seeking a full-time Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing patient-centered medical nutrition therapy and care.
The role involves assessing nutritional status using the Nutrition Care Process and Terminology (NCPT), identifying diagnoses, performing physical examinations, interpreting results, and designing, implementing, and evaluating nutrition care plans. The Dietitian will manage nutrition for patients at risk or malnourished, and deliver nutrition education to patients, families, and the community.
Responsibilities
- Assess nutritional status using the Nutrition Care Process and Terminology (NCPT).
- Identify nutritional diagnoses and perform physical examinations.
- Interpret results and design, implement, and evaluate nutrition care plans.
- Manage nutrition for patients at risk or malnourished.
- Deliver nutrition education to patients, families, and the community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in dietetics or related field.
- Completion of accredited dietetics coursework and supervised practice.
- Current registration as a Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Licensing within Oregon.
- Experience with adult nutrition education and disease management.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Clinical nutrition management experience.
- Medical nutrition therapy experience.
