Part-Time Dialysis Nurse

About the Role

This position involves providing patient care and operational support in a clinical setting, under supervision. Responsibilities include utilizing supplies and staff efficiently, assisting with billing, and performing duties to meet patient and clinic needs.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood samples for laboratory analysis.
• Review and document patient medication profiles monthly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, activities, and communication in patient records.
• Report changes in patient condition and machine issues to appropriate personnel.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education.

Requirements

• Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state, maintained in good standing.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Previous dialysis experience preferred.
• Completion of USRC training program with demonstrated competency.
• Proficiency in English communication and basic computer skills, with all clinical applications mastered within 90 days.
• Organizational skills to manage time and tasks effectively.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily, adhere to healthcare practice acts, and operate within legal and policy guidelines.
