Part-Time Dialysis Nurse

About the role

The position involves providing patient care within a clinical setting, performing duties such as blood sample collection, medication profile reviews, and documentation. The role requires effective use of supplies and staff labor, assisting with billing logs, and supporting operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient treatments, obtain laboratory samples, and document all activities accurately.
• Report patient condition changes and equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare practices, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings, ongoing education, and assist with training as needed.

Qualifications

• Current LVN/LPN license in the applicable state in good standing.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in clinical applications within 90 days.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in dialysis.
• Completion of approved training programs.
