Responsibilities

  • Ensures dialysis unit operates in compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Leads, coaches, and guides clinical teammates, including monitoring their performance and conducting skills checks.
  • Manages staff scheduling and assignments to maintain appropriate patient-to-staff ratios.
  • Communicates with facility personnel, managed care groups, providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Participates in onboarding, training, and educating new hires.
  • Monitors patient care, ensures adherence to policies and procedures, and maintains unit safety and cleanliness.
  • Collaborates with the Clinical Services team to meet CQI/QAPI initiatives and patient outcomes.
  • Works to be a great on-site partner and company advocate.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent.
  • Current RN license for Kansas and current CPR certification (within three months of hire).
  • One year of hemodialysis RN experience, with previous management experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, and various software systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize a variety of technical systems and equipment.
  • Excellent reading, writing, speaking, and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to read and understand policies and procedures related to the DOC and Rendevor Dialysis.

Pay

The Clinical Coordinator earns an hourly rate of $50.00 - $60.00, based on documented experience, qualifications, and market data.

Schedule

This role exists in a hospital, training center, patient residence, or in the medical unit of a post-acute or correctional facility. The schedule may range from five to fifteen hours per day, based on unit requirements.

Payroll

Records both arrival and departure time via ADP's time and attendance system, following HR guidelines.

Accounting

  • Timely and accurate review and submission of treatment rosters within two days of month end.
  • Accurate and timely submission of unit supply orders to the RAA and RD per the unit schedule.
  • Responsible for ensuring the unit has adequate supply inventories on hand and communicating with RD/RAA and purchasing department for atypical supply ordering.

Background Check

A comprehensive background check is required for all employees working in this position, conducted after an offer is made.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens.
  • Use of both medical and standard office equipment.
  • May include exposure to stressful situations and emergencies.
