About the Role

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Dentist to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Newport News, VA. This role offers flexible, impactful work, allowing you to function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.

The Setting

This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic, featuring:

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing, and logistics, enabling you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality dental care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care, including exams, preventive services, extractions, and basic restorative procedures
• Diagnose and manage oral health conditions commonly seen in aging populations
• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program
• Active Virginia dental license
• DEA certificate and/or Controlled Substance Registration
• Experience treating senior populations preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and warm chairside manner
• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

Schedule

• 5 days per month (Weekdays only, Monday-Friday)
• Typical hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm
• No nights or weekends

Compensation

$1000 per diem (Independent Contractor, 1099)
