About the Role
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Dentist to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Newport News, VA. This role is ideal for those looking for flexible, impactful work to complement their current schedule. You’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.
The Setting
This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic, featuring:

We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing, and logistics, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality dental care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care, including exams, preventive services, extractions, and basic restorative procedures
- Diagnose and manage oral health conditions commonly seen in aging populations
- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
- Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited program
- Active Virginia dental license
- DEA certificate and/or Controlled Substance Registration
- Experience treating senior populations preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and warm chairside manner
- Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments
Schedule
- 5 days per month (Weekdays only, Monday-Friday)
- Typical hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm
- No nights or weekends

$1000 per diem
