Part Time Dentist

Job Title: Part-Time Dentist Location: Lafayette, IN 47906 (Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Schedule: 8 hours per week (one full day or two partial days) Job Description We are seeking a qualified Part-Time Dentist to provide onsite dental care to residents at the Indiana Veterans' Home. Responsibilities Conduct oral health assessments and interpret portable dental X-rays.Provide cleanings, fillings, periodontal treatment, extractions, and denture repairs.Develop daily oral care plans and oversee preventive dental care.Prescribe medications as needed and coordinate with facility medical staff.Monitor age-related dental issues, including those affecting residents with Alzheimer's or cognitive decline.Educate nursing and caregiving staff on proper oral hygiene practices. Requirements Qualified dental professional with experience in general dentistry.Ability to provide dental care to elderly residents and individuals with cognitive or physical limitations.Must be available to work onsite in Lafayette, IN, for 8 hours per week.
