About the Role
Provide comprehensive dental assistance under supervision to ensure patient comfort and optimal care, performing procedures within legal scope.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and materials for dental procedures.
- Assist with four-handed dentistry and other clinical tasks per state regulations.
- Take and develop radiographs, and record patient medical histories, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Take dental impressions and counsel patients on post-operative care and oral health.
- Maintain a clean, organized sterilization area, adhering to safety and OSHA/WISHA standards.
- Wear PPE as required and assist in maintaining a safe clinical environment.
- Travel to other locations as needed and ensure reliable attendance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with state-specific credentials.
- Preferred: Graduation from an ADA-accredited program or EFDA.
- Must hold appropriate state licenses, including Registered Dental Assistant credentials in Washington, sealant certification, and BLS certification.
