Part-Time Dental Assistant

Seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support dental procedures, maintain a clean environment, and deliver excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Preparing treatment rooms
• Assisting dentists during procedures
• Taking dental x‑rays
• Providing oral care instructions
• Maintaining accurate records
• Scheduling appointments
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols
• Educating patients on oral hygiene
• Working effectively in a fast‑paced setting

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Wyoming Radiology Certification
• Current safety certifications (CPR, OSHA, HIPAA)
• Preferred: completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• Preferred: CDA certification
• Prior dental office experience advantageous

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Knowledge of dental instruments and terminology

Schedule

Occasional evening and Saturday shifts may be required; the role involves standing for extended periods and close interaction with patients and staff.
