Part-Time Dental Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and lab professionals in delivering tooth replacement care.

Responsibilities

• Preparing treatment areas and assisting with impressions, dentures, implants, and oral surgeries (depending on scope of practice)
• Providing excellent patient service and education on treatment options, aftercare, and policies
• Recording treatment and patient information accurately
• Assisting with denture adjustments and insertions under supervision
• Taking and developing x-rays (certified where required)
• Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean work environment
• Managing supplies and performing miscellaneous duties as needed

Requirements

• Active Dental Assistant and X-ray certifications
• High school diploma
• At least one year of experience assisting with dentures or implants, with preferred experience in taking impressions

Skills and Abilities

• Moderate physical activity and ability to exert up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and stoop for periods
• Experience in oral surgery and prosthetics
• Adherence to safety protocols in a clinical environment
