Part Time Delivery Driver - CDL

POSITION SUMMARY

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., seeks a reliable and experienced driver to join our team. This position involves driving a box truck or semi to make 10-20 deliveries per day, primarily on Sundays and Mondays. The role requires a CDL-B and good driving record, with 2 years of commercial motor vehicle driving experience. The schedule includes approximately 8-12 hours per day, with occasional overtime. The position offers competitive wages starting at $26/hr, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck or semi during one of our many routes while making 10-20 deliveries/day
• Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Lift products weighing up to 80 pounds consistently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks when needed
• Deliver orders to customer locations in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions
• Operate a handheld device to fulfill deliveries
• Able to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years or older
• Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) B and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
• Must have 2 years of commercial motor vehicle driving experience (Class A or B), and satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
• Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts, as required
• Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy
• Able to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
• Able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds - working with barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
• Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
