Part-Time Delivery Driver

About the role

Responsible for delivering products from stores using box and flat-bed trucks, ensuring complete, correct, and safe deliveries to customers. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, safe transportation, and adherence to routes and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deliveries to meet customer needs efficiently
• Load orders properly and complete necessary forms
• Transport and deliver items safely and punctually
• Maintain vehicle condition and report repairs
• Provide excellent customer service, address questions and complaints
• Operate transportation equipment and perform warehouse duties
• Follow transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
• Complete reports and documentation related to deliveries

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
• Possession of a Medical Examiner’s Certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally
• Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• One year of delivery driving experience
• Experience with material handling equipment
• Previous sales experience in paint and related products
