Part Time - Deli Production Associate

About the role

This position involves independently preparing, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli products to support store profitability. Responsibilities include baking, frying, pricing, wrapping, and merchandising deli items, as well as assisting with receiving and stocking merchandise. The role requires maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized department while adhering to safety and food handling standards.

Responsibilities

• Baking and frying based on production schedule (~80% of time)
• Pricing, dating, wrapping, and bagging deli products
• Rotating, inspecting, and merchandising deli shelves and displays
• Notifying managers for product and supply needs
• Assisting in receiving and stocking merchandise
• Handling spoiled/damaged products per guidelines
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
• Supporting other departments as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Experience in retail or related fields is a plus
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents
• Basic math skills and attention to detail

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Perform bending, stooping, twisting
• Work in varied temperatures and exposure to outside weather conditions
