Part Time - Deli Production Associate

About the role

This position involves independently preparing, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli products to support store profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include baking, frying, labeling, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked deli department.

Responsibilities

• Baking and frying per production schedule (80% of time)
• Pricing, dating, wrapping, and bagging deli items
• Rotating, inspecting, and merchandising deli shelves and displays
• Assisting with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise
• Handling spoiled or damaged products following guidelines
• Ensuring adherence to safety, food safety, cleanliness, and guest experience standards
• Supporting other departments as needed and performing additional duties

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred
• At least one year of retail or related experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents
• Basic math skills and attention to detail

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Stand and walk extensively
• Perform bending, stooping, and twisting
• Work environment involves varied temperatures and occasional outdoor exposure
