Part Time - Deli Manager

Role Overview

An Assistant Deli Manager supports daily deli operations, leads a team, and ensures excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid the Deli Manager in overseeing high-volume deli activities.
• Lead by example in food preparation, slicing, and serving gourmet deli items.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate team members across various tasks.
• Manage inventory, product rotation, and freshness to reduce waste.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and scheduling to maintain a trained staff.
• Support promotions, in-store events, and ensure proper product labeling and merchandising.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and equipment protocols.
• Create a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Over 3 years of deli experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a high-energy setting.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and communication).
