Part Time - Deli/Bakery Associate

About the role

This position involves independently preparing, frying, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to ensure quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include producing bakery/deli items, labeling, merchandising, rotating stock, and collaborating with other departments to support store growth. The role requires effective communication, adherence to safety and food safety guidelines, and flexibility to perform additional tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and merchandise bakery/deli products
• Stock and rotate backroom inventory
• Communicate tasks and follow safety, food safety, and guest experience standards
• Assist other departments as needed
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• At least one year of retail or related experience preferred
• Basic math skills
• Detail-oriented
• Able to read and interpret documents
• Lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Stand for extended periods
• Work in varied environmental conditions
