Bakery/Deli Associate

Role Summary This position involves independently preparing, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli and bakery products to meet company standards and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include following safety and food safety guidelines, coordinating with team members, and ensuring proper product merchandising and rotation. The role also requires communication of tasks, understanding basic math, and adhering to guest experience protocols. Additional duties may include assisting in other departments based on customer needs. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred, with at least one year of retail or related experience preferred. Must have strong reading, writing, comprehension, and basic math skills, and be detail-oriented. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like bending and twisting. The environment involves varied temperatures and moderate noise levels. This role emphasizes safety, food safety, guest experience, and teamwork, contributing to the overall success of the store operations.
