Job Overview
Cub Willmar is seeking a part-time deli team member to assist with food preparation, provide accurate and courteous service, and manage deli cases.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists with food preparation
- Provides customers with accurate, prompt, and courteous service
- Sets, fills, and rotates deli cases and displays
- Affixes product
- Breaks down department and performs cleaning duties
- Fulfills all store and department policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- Equipment operation (compactor, coffee pot, pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, scales, Cry-O-Vac machine, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, food processor, pizza oven)
- Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
- Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
- The position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
- Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age and older
Physical Requirements
- Lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs.
- Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Walking on uneven ground
- Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
- Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil
Schedule
Variably scheduled weekly shifts, including weekends.
