Part-Time Deli and Coffee Shop Barista

About the role

Provide prompt, high-quality coffee service while embodying core values such as respect, honesty, and safety. Deliver excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and suggesting products to enhance the customer experience. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally and acting with integrity. Support diverse customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and follow store policies
• Ensure proper merchandising, stocking, and inventory procedures
• Handle cash and register operations accurately
• Perform cleaning duties as scheduled

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus six months of customer service experience, or relevant education and experience
• Complete initial store training and pass barista certification with a score of 90% or higher
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, any shift, and overtime if needed
• Attention to detail, organization, and task prioritization skills

Skills
