Part Time Dairy/Frozen

Cub Eagan North on Town Centre Drive is looking for a dedicated individual for a part-time dairy/frozen food stocker position.

About the role

Dairy/frozen food stockers ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing for customers. Product rotation is critical to ensure freshness and minimize waste. This role requires attention to detail and strong customer service skills to contribute to an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform aisle stocking and display building
• Sort dairy/frozen food stock loads
• Assist cashiers with price checks and product replacement
• Assist customers with product location questions and suggestions
• Answer department phone calls and respond or refer as appropriate
• Follow all store and department policies and procedures

Requirements

• Operate equipment (hand jack, power jack, box cutter, flat bed, compactor, broom, mop)
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
• Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
• Ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service
• Good judgment, as direct supervision may not always be available
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
• Ability to write identifying information and request supplies verbally or in writing
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be at least 16 years old

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs
• Pushing/pulling up to 2500 lbs
• Walking on uneven ground
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil

Schedule

Varied weekly evening shifts; weekends required.

Pay

UNFI anticipates paying a competitive hourly rate based on factors such as education, experience, training, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
