Part Time Customer Service Associate

About the role

The Customer Service Associate role involves interacting with customers to process rentals and provide guidance on necessary insurance or ancillary benefits. Responsibilities

• Manage the rental (and sometimes return) process in compliance with Hertz's policies and procedures.
• Welcome customers with a smile and maintain a professional appearance and behavior.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and safe for every customer.
• Own and resolve customer issues immediately to enhance the service experience.
• Engage in teamwork and collaborate to contribute to Hertz's success.
• Utilize company-approved sales and service techniques to understand customer needs and offer optional products.
• Prepare rental and return documents accurately and completely.
• Provide customers with directions, maps, and service information.
• Review rental agreements and charges with customers to ensure clarity.
• Prepare the Rental Agreement Folder with all required information.
• Answer phones to assist customers in a friendly, helpful, and prompt manner.
• Resolve customer service issues and manage queues efficiently.

Benefits

This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K benefits, as well as uncapped monthly sales incentives. There is also the potential for top sellers to earn over $100K annually.

Pay

$14/HR as the base pay, with overtime hours compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Schedule

Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, and work overtime as required. Work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks, standing for long periods of time.
