Part-time Custodian

About the role

Individual will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining buildings including offices, classrooms, restrooms, lounges, and other areas. Additional duties include event set-up and tear-down as needed. This is a pooled position; applicants are selected from the pool as openings arise. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Required on-call rotation during winter months for snow removal, typically between 5–6 a.m.

Schedule

• 20–25 hours per week, 12 months per year
• Two shifts available: Morning (5 a.m.–1:30 p.m.) or Evening (4 p.m.–12:30 a.m.)
• Minimum 20 hours per week required

Pay

Hourly pay rate: $11.75

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, classrooms, restrooms, lounges, and other building areas
• Assist with event set-up and tear-down
• Participate in on-call snow removal during winter months

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience (preferred)
• Successful completion of a criminal background check (required)
