Part-Time Custodian
Hanover Township is seeking an experienced individual for a Part-Time Public Works Custodian position (29-hour work week maximum).
About the role
The ideal candidate will perform cleaning, maintaining, and making repairs to Township facilities and grounds. Work will be assigned by the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds, and may also be assigned by Supervisors from the Divisions of Park Maintenance, Roads, or Sanitation. Additional small assignments or projects may be required as needed. Persons in this role may be temporarily assigned to work in another Division of the Department.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain Township facilities and grounds
- Perform repairs to facilities and grounds
- Complete other small assignments or projects as needed
- Temporarily work in other Divisions of the Department when required
Requirements
- Experience in a maintenance and/or janitorial role
Pay
This position is classified as Job Group 1 under Schedule D-1 and Salary Range Guide D-1, with a current range of $19.23 to $28.38 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with skills and experience.
