Part-Time Custodian

About the Role

The Overnight Custodian maintains the cleanliness and safety of facilities, including restrooms, entryways, kitchens, offices, conference rooms, and outdoor areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, and trash removal.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, and common areas, including outdoor windows and parking lots.
• Stock and organize supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and janitorial storage.
• Complete daily prioritized tasks while adhering to safety regulations and MSDS guidelines.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning products safely.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate flexibility to changing priorities.

Requirements

• Stable work history with ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Effective communication skills with management and colleagues.
• Physical ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility, responsibility, and attention to safety regulations.

Schedule

Overnight shift: 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, 4.5-day workweek.

Pay

Starting wage: $17/hour.
