Part-time Custodian and Grounds Worker

Responsibilities

• Affix to the Facilities Manager and perform assigned work orders promptly
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the physical integrity of the property
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents and visitors of the Del Webb Amenity Center
• Identify and rectify issues related to the property
• Follow up on service requests and communicate effectively with managers for superior customer service
• Assist with the setup and teardown of Lifestyle events
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of tennis courts
• Engage in power washing and general upkeep of the property

Requirements

• Completion of a background check is required for employment
• Demonstrate aptitude for learning and applying mechanical, construction, and/or maintenance skills
• Attendance and punctuality are essential
• Exceptional attention to detail is necessary for executing precise furniture layouts
• Must be available as a backup to the Facilities Manager for emergencies
• Must have familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
• Basic computer skills are needed to input and complete work orders
• Must be proficient in using various hand and power tools, capable of lifting heavy objects, and climbing ladders of varying heights
• Excellent communication skills are required to provide high-quality customer service
• A valid driver's license and good driving record are necessary
• Ability to speak, read, and write English is mandatory
