About the Role
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients, ensure image quality, follow safety protocols, maintain equipment, document procedures, and collaborate with healthcare professionals. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and adhere to radiation safety standards. Provide compassionate patient care and adapt to different CT protocols across facilities.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate diagnostic images using CT scanners
- Prepare and position patients for procedures
- Optimize technical parameters for image quality
- Ensure safety protocols and radiation standards are followed
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment
- Document procedures and maintain records
- Collaborate effectively within a healthcare team
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent CT experience
- Valid radiology license
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT certification (preferred)
- Visual acuity and good motor skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
