About the role
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and image quality.
- Operate CT equipment, set technical parameters, and follow protocols to produce accurate images.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure.
- Document patient information and procedural details accurately.
- Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.
Requirements
- One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
- Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification; ARRT certification preferred.
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
- Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and effective communication.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, adapt to different equipment and protocols, and handle pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
