Part-Time CT Technologist

About the role

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images of patients' bodies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and image quality.
• Operate CT equipment, set technical parameters, and follow protocols to produce accurate images.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure.
• Document patient information and procedural details accurately.
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.

Requirements

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification; ARRT certification preferred.
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
• Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and effective communication.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, adapt to different equipment and protocols, and handle pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
