About the role
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging in a healthcare facility. This role involves preparing and positioning patients, setting technical parameters, ensuring high-quality images, adhering to safety standards, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Operate various CT equipment to produce diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients for procedures
- Set and adjust technical parameters to ensure high-quality images
- Adhere to safety standards and radiation protection protocols
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment
- Document procedures accurately and thoroughly
- Provide compassionate patient care and communicate effectively
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- At least one year of recent CT experience
- Valid radiology license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT certification preferred
