Part-Time CT Technologist

About the role

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepare and position patients, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards are met
• Document procedures accurately
• Provide compassionate patient care
• Adapt to various imaging protocols across different healthcare settings

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent CT experience
• Valid Radiology license
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification preferred
• Critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills
• Physical ability to handle equipment and assist patients
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Visual acuity and effective communication skills
