About the Role
A skilled CT Technologist is needed to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging in healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissues
- Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety
- Set technical parameters for accurate imaging and collaborate with radiologists
- Maintain equipment, document procedures, and adhere to safety protocols
- Provide compassionate patient care and troubleshoot technical issues
- Adapt to different protocols and work effectively with healthcare teams
Requirements
- At least one year of recent CT Technologist experience
- Valid Radiology license in accordance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Skills
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move and handle equipment, perform fine manipulation, and remain in position
- Ability to read and follow instructions, work under pressure, and adapt to various protocols
