Part-Time CT Technologist

About the role

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepare and position patients, ensure safety protocols, maintain equipment, document procedures, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic services. Provide compassionate patient care and adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure.

Responsibilities

• Set technical parameters and produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans
• Troubleshoot and maintain CT equipment
• Follow and enforce safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure
• Adapt to various scanning protocols and healthcare environments
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic services

Requirements

• One year of recent CT experience
• Valid radiology license
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification preferred
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Technical proficiency in operating CT equipment
• Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures
• Mental resilience to work under pressure
