About the role
The Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepares and positions patients, follows safety protocols, maintains equipment, and collaborates with healthcare professionals to deliver accurate imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Ensure image quality and adhere to safety standards
- Perform equipment maintenance and document procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for diagnosis
- Produce diagnostic images and ensure patient safety
- Adapt to different protocols and equipment as needed
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent CT experience
- Valid radiology license
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT certification preferred
