About the role
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment to operate CT scanners for diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of anatomy for diagnosis
- Preparing and positioning patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring safety protocols
- Collaborating with radiologists to obtain high-quality images
- Maintaining equipment, documenting patient data, and adhering to safety standards
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT scanners
- Following safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure
- Adapting to different protocols and assisting with various duties within scope
Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum one year of recent CT technologist experience
- Valid radiology license and current BLS certification
- Critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and technical manipulation
- Physical ability to move and position equipment and patients
- Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively with diverse teams
