About the role

CT Technologist responsible for performing CT procedures using advanced scanners, ensuring high-quality imaging for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT scanners (GE, Siemens, Philips) to produce diagnostic images.
  • Position patients accurately, select protocols, and ensure optimal results.
  • Check orders, document procedures, and maintain patient identification standards.
  • Record technical data and ensure all images are stored correctly in PACS.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and stay updated on radiology advancements.
  • Communicate procedures clearly to patients, monitor their condition, and report adverse signs.
  • Maintain department organization, supplies, and assist colleagues as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School diploma and completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety.
  • Strong communication, patient care, multitasking, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to new technologies, and collaborate effectively.
