About the Role
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in diagnostic CT exams, performing imaging procedures under supervision following established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and medical records
- Interview patients to gather medical history
- Explain procedures to patients
- Set up equipment and acquire images
- Review and document images
- Communicate findings to radiologists
- Recognize medical emergencies and respond appropriately
- Provide post-care instructions to patients
- Participate in quality improvement activities
- Educate staff and students
- May perform general radiologic duties and take call/standby as needed
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiology (R) or CT preferred
- BLS certification required
- One or more years of radiologic technologist experience or advanced CT certification
