Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic in Lockhart, Texas is looking for a friendly, dependable, and compassionate Part-Time Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our veterinary team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced veterinary environment, connecting with pet owners, and helping create a positive experience for every client and patient who walks through our doors. We are looking for someone who can help throughout the week and work two Saturdays per month. Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets with a warm, friendly, and professional approach
• Providing outstanding customer service throughout each client's visit
• Answering phones, responding to client questions, and directing calls appropriately
• Scheduling appointments and managing the flow of client visits
• Checking clients and patients in and out of the hospital
• Maintaining accurate client and patient information
• Processing payments and assisting with financial transactions
• Communicating appointment information, treatment recommendations, and follow-up instructions
• Assisting veterinary team members with client communication and coordination of patient care
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Providing compassionate support to clients during routine visits as well as more emotional or stressful situations
• Working collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary technicians, assistants, and other hospital team members

Requirements

• Has previous customer service, receptionist, veterinary, medical, or animal care experience preferred
• Is comfortable working in a busy veterinary hospital environment
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Provides exceptional customer service and treats every client with compassion and respect
• Is dependable and able to work a flexible part-time schedule
• Is comfortable working two Saturdays per month
• Can multitask while maintaining attention to detail
• Works well as part of a collaborative team
• Is comfortable learning veterinary terminology and hospital processes
• Has basic computer skills and the ability to learn veterinary practice management software
• Has a genuine love for animals and a desire to help pets and their families

Schedule

This is a part-time position with availability needed throughout the week, including: weekday shifts based on hospital needs, two Saturdays per month, schedule flexibility preferred.
