About the role
Ace Handyman Services of Metairie is seeking multi-skilled part-time Carpenters to join our team. We are a top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling company serving homes and businesses throughout Greater New Orleans.
Responsibilities
- Work out of your home on your choice of a full time or part time basis.
- Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service.
- Travel to job sites using your own vehicle.
- Potential income ranging from $17 to $21 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and professional appearance/demeanor.
- Good overall knowledge of multiple trades including Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, Drywalling, and light Plumbing and Electrical.
- Excellent customer service skills, including communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Own standard set of tools for all trades.
- Own truck or van.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and invoicing skills.
- Background check and drug screen clearance required.
Qualifications
- Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsman; estimation skills and prior home inspection experience, strongly preferred.
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Own standard set of tools to perform all trades.
- Own truck or van.
- Current and valid driver's license.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
